Thank You Thursday
"Helping Those Who Help Others"
Every Thursday, GSP sends a meal to the people who risk their lives so the rest of us can live safe, fulfilling ones.
About the Program
A Simple Thank You — Delivered Every Thursday
Thank You Thursday is a GSP initiative built on one straightforward idea: the men and women who run toward danger so that we don't have to deserve to be recognized. Not once a year. Not on a holiday. Every week.
Each Thursday, The Good Samaritan Project purchases and delivers a meal — breakfast, lunch, or dinner — to a local first responder station. Fire departments, police stations, nurses' stations, veterans' homes. The faces change week to week. The gratitude never does.
Who We Honor
Thank You for All You Do
Law Enforcement
Police officers and sheriffs who patrol our streets, respond to emergencies, and keep our neighborhoods safe — every single shift.
Fire Departments
Firefighters who run into burning buildings, respond to accidents, and provide life-saving care when every second counts.
Medical Heroes
Nurses, paramedics, EMTs, and healthcare workers who show up for patients on the worst days of their lives — with compassion and skill.
Veterans
Those who served our country and now live in veterans' homes — men and women who gave years of their lives in service to all of us.

Why This Matters
A Small Gesture.
A Meaningful Message.
GSP is under no illusion that a Thursday lunch changes a first responder's life. That is not the point. The point is the message behind it.
First responders clock in knowing that today could be the day everything goes wrong. They miss birthdays. They carry weight the rest of us never see. And they do it for a community that often forgets to say thank you.
Thank You Thursday is that thank you — delivered warm, every week, from the community to the people who protect it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

How It Works
Every Thursday, Without Fail
A Station Is Chosen
GSP selects a fire station, police precinct, nurses' station, or veterans' home in the Cleveland area to recognize that week.
A Meal Is Ordered
GSP purchases breakfast, lunch, or dinner from a local restaurant — a real, warm meal for the team on shift.
Delivered with Gratitude
The meal arrives with a personal note and a Thank You Thursday card on behalf of The Good Samaritan Project and the community.
Then We Do It Again
Next Thursday, a new station. The same gratitude. Week after week, because the sacrifice never stops — and neither does the appreciation.
Where We Go
Any Station. Any Shift. Any Thursday.
No two Thursdays look the same — and that is by design. We rotate across the community so that appreciation reaches as many people as possible.

Know a Station That Deserves Recognition?
Nominate a Station
Do you know a fire crew, police team, nursing staff, or group of veterans who go above and beyond for the Cleveland community? Nominate them for a Thursday visit and we will take care of the rest.
All you need to tell us is where they are and why they deserve it. We handle the meal, the delivery, and the thank-you card.
